Create and use a template
To create a new Collector request template and use a template for a request, please follow the steps below.
Creating a new Collector request template
1. Start by Creating a request, see more here: Create a new Collector request
2. Add Title of request and requirements. You also have the option to add Responsible(s) and assignees depending on your use case.
3. Click on Save template
4. Add a name for the template and click Save template
Use a template that was previously created
1. Click Create request
2. Choose Use template (This option is only available if you have at least one template saved).
3. The template library will now open. On the left you have a list with the templates you have available. On the right, you see what the selected template contains (Title, Responsible(s), Requirements etc.
4. To use a specific template, click on it in the template list, and then click Use template in the lower right corner.
5. This opens the request wizard with all the values from the template pre-filled. In the request wizard you can modify the request, if you for example need to change the title, add an extra document or add another Responsible person. The template is just used to pre-fill the request wizard and any changes you make at this step will not be saved in the template.
In the template library, you also have the options to Edit an existing template or Delete it, if it’s no longer used.
