11 - Propagate UBO with special rights to subsidiaries

You can propagate UBO status based on special rights to subsidiaries.

Special rights will normally only impact the legal entity where it is created. But, if you want to propagate the UBO status to all the legal entities' subsidiaries, then that is also possible.

When you have created a special right, a new toggle will show. If you turn on the “Propagate UBO to subsidiaries,” the UBO status will be populated for all the subsidiaries.

In this example, the special right “Veto” has been added to Elizabeth Ingalls to Rose Inc. This means that Elizabeth is added as an officer and is also shown as UBO for Rose Inc.

Since the “propagate UBO for subsidiaries” was also turned on, Elizabeth will also be UBO in all the subsidiaries. In this example, it will be for all three subsidiaries.

Below you can see that Elizabeth is a UBO for Philip Inc.

She is not created as an officer since the UBO status comes from the “propagate UBO for subsidiaries” function.
