Connect approval groups with Counterparty roles
Approval groups are linked to the role(s) of a Counterparty to whom you are sending the request.
A Counterparty can have one or more roles, which can be added to the Counterparty profile. These roles can be connected to the approval groups (see Create and manage approval groups). An approval group can be responsible for one or more different Counterparty roles. Each time a request is sent to a Counterparty holding a role associated with approval groups, the KYC Manager can solicit internal approval from these designated groups.
Example:
The Counterparty Big Corp has two roles: Customers and Investors. Let's say that three different approval groups are associated with those roles, called: Legal Department, Treasury Department, and Group Department. Now, each time a request is sent to Big Corp, internal approval can be requested from the three groups (see Request flow with approval groups), so that one member of the Legal Department, Treasury Department, and Group Department needs to approve the Counterparty on behalf of the group.

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Approval Groups
3. Select the approval group
4. Under Counterparty Roles, click on +Add
5. Choose the role to be added and click on Add
